Responsibility
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Supervise and mentor a team of operators and technicians, providing training and performance feedback.
- Optimize machinery and equipment performance through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower operational costs.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to develop and execute process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on production metrics, downtime, and efficiency.
- Assist in the planning and execution of new projects, including equipment installation and process upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or engineering management.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery, automation, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using engineering software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
