Responsibility
- Lead and support maintenance activities for train and train equipment assets, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests on rolling stock to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in trains.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on the latest rolling stock technologies and best practices.
- Support emergency response efforts to minimize downtime and ensure passenger safety.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles, preferably in the transportation or rail industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of rolling stock systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
