Responsibility
- Support the Director of Groups & Events in developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize revenue from events, banquets, and group bookings across multiple luxury properties in Bali.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile events, including weddings, corporate functions, galas, and private celebrations, ensuring seamless delivery from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including F&B, operations, marketing, and sales, to create tailored event proposals that align with client expectations and brand standards.
- Manage client relationships from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring exceptional service and fostering long-term loyalty.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, vendor coordination, budget management, and on-site supervision to guarantee flawless execution.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and innovative event concepts that enhance our competitive edge in the luxury hospitality sector.
- Train, mentor, and inspire a team of event professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
- Monitor event performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize future event strategies and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, banquet sales, or luxury hospitality, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing high-end events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings, with budgets exceeding IDR 500,000,000.
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM tools; experience with Delphi or similar platforms is a plus.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail, design, and aesthetics, coupled with the ability to think strategically and solve problems under pressure.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, French) are highly desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the role.
