Responsibility
- Lead the architectural planning, design, and execution of the Bay East Garden and Founders’ Memorial projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., horticulture, engineering, sustainability teams) and external consultants to integrate innovative design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental sustainability best practices.
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships, including procurement, negotiations, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies, leveraging industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of excellence, mentoring team members and promoting knowledge sharing across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or Project Management; professional certification (e.g., PMP, RA) is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role for large-scale public or landscape projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, preferably in Singapore or Southeast Asia.
- Strong expertise in BIM (Building Information Modeling), AutoCAD, Revit, and other design/project management tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of sustainable design principles, horticultural integration, and urban planning regulations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Mandarin or other regional languages is advantageous.
