Note: This is a full-time, remote position with core working hours aligned to US time zones (e.g., EST/PST).
Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate records of company assets, including hardware, software, and digital resources, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits to verify asset inventory, track discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations teams to streamline asset procurement, deployment, and retirement processes.
- Develop and enforce asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize asset lifecycle and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor asset performance, utilization, and depreciation, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with global asset management standards (e.g., ISO 55000, ITIL) and prepare documentation for internal/external audits.
- Provide training and support to employees on asset management tools, systems, and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance asset management strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset management, compliance, or a related role, preferably in a global or US-based organization.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 55000, ITIL), and risk mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in asset management software (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) or ITIL v4 are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a high degree of self-motivation and time management.
