Responsibility
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Work Instructions (WI) for assembly processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing downtime and enhancing productivity.
- Conduct regular audits of assembly lines to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions for optimization.
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes, tools, and best practices to uphold operational excellence.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support the introduction of new products by designing and validating assembly processes.
- Document and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams across departments.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, quality management systems (QMS), and process validation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
