Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial transactions to identify and report suspicious activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international AML regulations and policies.
- Analyze customer profiles and transaction patterns to detect potential risks.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement and enhance AML procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and changes in AML laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and delivery of AML training programs for staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all AML-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in AML compliance, preferably within the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations, including FATF, Basel, and local banking laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using AML monitoring tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certification in AML (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.
