As an Airport Emergency Officer, you will serve as the first line of defense in maintaining operational continuity and safety at Singapore Changi Airport. Responsibility
- Respond immediately to all on-airport emergency incidents, including fire, medical, and hazardous material situations.
- Conduct routine safety patrols and enforce airport security protocols to ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations.
- Perform regular maintenance and readiness checks on specialized emergency response vehicles and equipment.
- Manage traffic control and incident site containment during emergency situations to minimize disruption to airport operations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with external emergency services, including the SCDF and airport police force.
- Provide prompt first-aid and trauma care to passengers and staff in distress.
- Participate in intensive training exercises and simulations to maintain operational readiness.
- Execute evacuation procedures during crisis scenarios and manage crowd control effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level, 'A' Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Possess high physical fitness levels; candidates must be able to pass a rigorous medical and physical fitness assessment.
- Ability to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and calmly in high-pressure environments.
- Previous experience in uniformed groups, emergency services, or security operations is highly advantageous.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Demonstrated commitment to discipline, integrity, and team-oriented work ethics.
