Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end export air freight shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of bookings, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, airlines, and internal teams to resolve inquiries, track shipments, and provide real-time updates.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., AWBs, invoices, packing lists) in compliance with international regulations and airline requirements.
- Coordinate with warehouse and ground handling teams to optimize cargo consolidation, loading, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor shipment statuses, proactively address delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment details, costs, and client communications in company systems (e.g., AWS, VB).
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, offering solutions, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify process improvements and enhance service efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in air freight export operations, customer service, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, IATA standards, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in freight management software (e.g., AWS, VB) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to accuracy.
- Customer-focused attitude with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
