Responsibility
- Develop and optimize agrochemical formulations, including pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, to ensure efficacy and stability.
- Conduct laboratory testing and analysis to evaluate product performance, safety, and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to scale up formulations for commercial production.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements in formulation processes and ingredients.
- Prepare technical documentation, including formulation reports, safety data sheets (SDS), and regulatory submission materials.
- Troubleshoot formulation issues and implement corrective actions to maintain product consistency and quality.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards in all formulation activities.
- Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams for product launches and customer inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in agrochemical formulation, preferably in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of agrochemical active ingredients, excipients, and formulation techniques (e.g., emulsifiable concentrates, suspension concentrates, granules).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for agrochemical products in Indonesia and other key markets.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment (e.g., HPLC, GC, viscosity meters) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in formulation development and testing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
