Responsibility
- Manage and update patient records and administrative databases using Microsoft Excel and healthcare software.
- Provide front-line customer support via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring a professional and empathetic experience.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and patient communications in compliance with healthcare protocols.
- Process and verify patient documentation, including forms, insurance details, and medical histories with high accuracy.
- Assist in generating reports and data analysis to support healthcare operations and decision-making.
- Liaise with medical staff, insurance providers, and other stakeholders to resolve inquiries and streamline workflows.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA or local equivalents).
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the healthcare team during peak periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or a related field, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation) and office software (Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology or electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
