Responsibility
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, members, and stakeholders, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling inquiries.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for the organization.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems to ensure efficient information retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, documents, and presentations as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and office supply management.
- Support the organization’s activities by liaising with volunteers, donors, and community members.
- Uphold the values and mission of the Shah Alam Buddhist Society in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office equipment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- A genuine interest in or understanding of Buddhist principles and community service is a plus.
