Responsibility
- Process and reconcile incoming payments from clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, implementing effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding receivables.
- Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions, including payments, adjustments, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and cash flow projections.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions to enhance the accounts receivable function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, general accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies and inquiries efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
