Responsibility
- Manage and process all accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and credit memos, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices through professional communication.
- Maintain and update customer records, financial databases, and accounting software to reflect current transaction statuses.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers with general ledger to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries promptly.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and outstanding balances to management.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, finance, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Italian) are a plus.
