Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and payment terms.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment inquiries.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain cash flow.
- Support audit requests by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in financial transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
