Responsibility
- Oversee the full cycle of Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and negotiating payment terms.
- Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly AP reports, providing insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on local tax regulations and ensure compliance in all AP-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and local financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in a multinational or remote team is a plus.
