Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Prepare and maintain accounts payable records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper approval of invoices and expenses.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Monitor accounts payable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain confidential financial records and comply with company policies and regulations.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and process improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
