Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Coordinate with vendors to address payment inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure smooth transactions.
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
