Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Assist in tax compliance, including VAT/GST filings and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships or entry-level roles considered).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.
