Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of accountants to achieve departmental goals.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance, providing insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is an advantage.
