Responsibility
- Prepare, review, and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian accounting standards.
- Handle BIR-related transactions, including tax filings, registrations, and compliance documentation to ensure adherence to local tax laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial data is recorded correctly and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings, while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax assessments.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of BIR transactions and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (additional Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification such as CPA or ongoing professional development in accounting is a plus.
