Responsibility
- Maintain and update accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment of employee salaries and benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
- Manage tax filings, including VAT, withholding taxes, and other statutory requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
