Responsibility
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Supervise payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, benefits, and tax deductions.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements in Indonesia.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational workflows, improve financial controls, and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting and operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Assist in audits, both internal and external, by providing accurate documentation and supporting financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
