Responsibility
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Process and track rebates, ensuring compliance with company policies and Australian financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for Australian stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including audit preparations.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to Australian financial practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with international teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setup.
- Knowledge of Australian tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
