Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of 10–20 fund accounting professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
