Responsibility
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international standards.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate taxes, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders to facilitate audits and financial reviews.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in the hospitality or service industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
