Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal adjustments.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business growth and cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in the retail or FMCG industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
