Responsibility
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
- Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing financial documents.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelorâs or Diploma program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting is advantageous but not required.
