Responsibility
- Collect, review, and verify US payroll and tax documents from clients to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain digital records of financial documents in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients to request missing or additional documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing of payroll and tax filings.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries of document status for internal and client review.
- Monitor deadlines for document submissions and follow up with clients to ensure timely compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information at all times.
- Stay updated on US payroll and tax regulations to ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, payroll coordination, or a related administrative role.
- Strong understanding of US payroll and tax documentation (e.g., W-2s, 1099s, payroll registers).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with document management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Prior experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Gusto) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
