Responsibility
- Compute unit costs for Sales Return items, particularly those lacking supporting documentation, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Receiving and Special Warehouse departments to audit inventory valuations and cost accuracy.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of financial records to ensure alignment with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and track accounts payable/receivable workflows to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain systematic documentation of financial transactions and supporting invoices.
- Provide support for internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, costing, or general finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across different departments.
