Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including issuing payments and following up on outstanding invoices.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing necessary reports and documentation.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents, both physical and digital.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Adhere to company policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior internship or work experience in accounting is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and other departments.
