Responsibility
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify discrepancies or trends.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and supporting schedules for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and statutory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate documentation of financial transactions.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls for increased efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR tax compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
