Responsibility
- Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Maintain and update the General Ledger (GL), ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and classified.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on AP, AR, and GL.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
- Certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus.
