Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and electronic payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records in the company's ERP system.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Support the finance team in audits and financial reviews as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency in the accounts payable function.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
