Responsibility
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D models, drawings, and renderings using SketchUp and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, assembly instructions, and fabrication documents for production teams.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all design documents.
- Assist in material selection and cost estimation by providing precise measurements and model data.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in 3D modeling software and design techniques.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are submitted on time.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a 3D Drafter, CAD Designer, or similar role, preferably in architecture, engineering, or product design.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and SolidWorks; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Rhino is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness for accurate modeling.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with international teams.
- Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing previous 3D modeling or drafting work (required).
