Responsibility
- Conduct monthly scheduled and ad-hoc WSH inspections across various sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
- Perform Internal Audits for Integrated Management Systems (IFS), including ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and monitor WSH policies, procedures, and programs to align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and report on incidents, near-misses, and accidents, recommending corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures for high-risk activities.
- Provide WSH training and awareness programs for employees to promote a safety-first culture.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspections, audits, incidents, and training sessions for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging WSH trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in WSH coordination, preferably in a multi-site or industrial environment.
- Certification in WSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IFS), ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with local and international WSH regulations, particularly in Southeast Asia.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
