Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain WiFi networks and wireless infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Provide L1.5 technical support for network-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving connectivity problems.
- Monitor network performance and conduct regular audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement scalable wireless solutions tailored to client needs.
- Perform site surveys to assess signal strength, interference, and coverage areas for optimal WiFi deployment.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports for future reference and compliance.
- Assist in upgrading and patching network hardware and software to maintain security and efficiency.
- Educate end-users on best practices for wireless network usage and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in WiFi network support, installation, or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of wireless standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), TCP/IP, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with WiFi routers, access points, switches, and network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel to various locations in Bali as required.
