Are you an experienced US Registered Nurse (USRN) with a deep understanding of US hospital billing cycles? We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of billing professionals, ensuring operational excellence, and maximizing revenue cycle efficiency for our US-based clients.
As a Team Leader, you will act as the bridge between clinical expertise and administrative accuracy, ensuring that all billing procedures comply with US healthcare standards. Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of USRNs and billing specialists to achieve daily and monthly performance KPIs.
- Oversee end-to-end hospital billing processes, ensuring accuracy in claims submission and denial management.
- Conduct regular quality audits and performance reviews to maintain high service standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and billing efficiency.
- Provide clinical insights to the billing team regarding medical terminology and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address complex billing discrepancies and payment denials.
- Prepare regular performance reports for management and propose process improvements.
Qualifications
- Active US Registered Nurse (USRN) license (must be in good standing).
- Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a US hospital billing or RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) environment.
- Deep understanding of US medical coding, billing guidelines, and insurance claim processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, specifically regarding claim denials and adjustments.
- Proficiency in using hospital information systems (HIS) and billing software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines effectively.
