Cagayan State University is seeking a dedicated and visionary University Extension Specialist V to join our professional team in the Ilocos Region. Responsibility
- Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive university extension programs that align with community needs.
- Provide technical consultancy to local government units and stakeholders regarding socio-economic development projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary research-extension teams in the execution of flagship community initiatives.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance with institutional and government standards.
- Develop training modules and capacity-building programs for local stakeholders and community leaders.
- Analyze regional development trends to pivot extension strategies toward high-impact outcomes.
- Represent the university in regional forums, technical working groups, and professional development networks.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Community Development, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in university extension work, rural development, or community engagement programs.
- Proven track record in project management and successful implementation of large-scale community initiatives.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Filipino.
- Demonstrated ability to write grant proposals, technical reports, and policy briefs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate diverse community dynamics.
- Relevant Professional Eligibility (e.g., Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility).
