Cagayan State University is seeking a dedicated and visionary University Extension Specialist IV to join our team in the Ilocos Region. Responsibility
- Design, implement, and monitor comprehensive extension programs aligned with the university's development goals.
- Conduct situational analysis and community needs assessments to identify priority areas for intervention.
- Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and external partners to ensure the effective dissemination of technical knowledge.
- Provide expert technical assistance and capacity-building training to community stakeholders and beneficiary groups.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, project proposals, and impact evaluations for university management and funding agencies.
- Manage extension project budgets and ensure resources are utilized efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
- Represent the university in local, regional, and national forums related to extension, agriculture, and community outreach.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Community Development, Agriculture, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in extension work, project management, or community engagement.
- Strong understanding of Philippine government regulations regarding university extension services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and community relationship building.
- Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
