Cagayan State University is seeking a dedicated and proactive University Extension Associate I to join our team in the Ilocos Region. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between the university's academic research and the community, facilitating the effective transfer of technology, knowledge, and extension services to local stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and implement extension programs and community outreach projects.
- Conduct needs assessments and impact evaluations within target communities.
- Collaborate with academic departments to package research findings into accessible extension modules.
- Maintain records and prepare comprehensive reports on extension activities for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for local beneficiaries and partners.
- Foster strong relationships with community leaders, local government units, and relevant NGOs.
- Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of extension service performance targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in extension services, community organizing, or project management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and the local dialect.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse community groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in field settings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities geared toward rural development.
