Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Support patient mobility by safely transferring, positioning, and porters patients as needed.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the therapy team.
- Help patients perform therapeutic exercises under professional supervision.
- Document patient interactions and treatment activities accurately.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during recovery.
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare assistance is a plus.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or therapy support role is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina to assist with patient transfers and mobility support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic equipment and rehabilitation techniques.
