Responsibility
- Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure and Support Team in APAC, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of all systems.
- Oversee global extended infrastructure suppliers, including cloud services, data centers, and third-party vendors, to ensure SLA compliance and cost efficiency.
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable IT infrastructure solutions, including networks, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, leading incident response and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business needs and align IT infrastructure strategies with organizational goals.
- Drive automation and innovation through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, such as DevOps, IaC, and AI-driven monitoring.
- Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and procurement to ensure optimal resource allocation and cost control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, AWS/Azure Certified, ITIL) are a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing regional or global teams.
- Proven expertise in managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premises data centers, and hybrid environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls), server administration (Windows/Linux), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with IT security frameworks, compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR), and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet) and monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
- Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, scalability, and business alignment.
