Responsibility
- Develop detailed technical drawings and 3D models for furniture designs using Rhino software.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure feasibility and functionality of furniture pieces.
- Create accurate production plans, including material specifications and assembly instructions.
- Review and optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain organized documentation of all technical plans and revisions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in furniture design and manufacturing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Planner or similar role, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Proficiency in Rhino 3D and other relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
