Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Cash Management team, ensuring timely and accurate bank reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any findings or recommendations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the Cash Management function.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies, mitigating risks and safeguarding company assets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Accounting, and Finance, to streamline cash flow management and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cash management and financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cash management, accounting, or financial operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, month-end close processes, and financial audits.
- Proficient in using financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
