Responsibility
- Prepare and manage full sets of accounts for a variety of corporate clients.
- Perform accurate tax computations and prepare income tax returns (Form C, BE, B, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with MFRS/MPERS and local statutory regulations.
- Coordinate and liaise with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and other government agencies on behalf of clients.
- Assist in tax planning and advisory services to optimize client tax efficiency.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain well-organized financial documentation and digital record-keeping systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CTIM).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or tax consultancy firm preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, or cloud-based platforms) and MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian Tax Laws and Accounting Standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Malay, or Chinese (to liaise with clients).
- High degree of integrity and professional ethics.
