Responsibility
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize logistics, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiates contracts, and ensures timely delivery of materials.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing excess stock and shortages.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and propose data-driven solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, including natural disasters, geopolitical issues, or supplier failures.
- Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations while promoting sustainable and ethical supply chain practices.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on KPIs such as order fulfillment rates, lead times, and cost savings to measure success.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), supply chain software, and advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to negotiate and present ideas clearly.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing, transport, and logistics industries, including best practices and emerging trends.
