Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, ensuring timely disbursement of funds.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper authorization and documentation for all payments.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
