Responsibility
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights to management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plus but not required.
