Responsibility
- Develop and refine new furniture product concepts based on market research and design trends.
- Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM) for production.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality, cost-effective materials.
- Manage the creation of product prototypes and conduct quality evaluations.
- Coordinate with the production department to ensure smooth scaling from prototype to mass production.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of new products in the market to suggest continuous improvements.
- Ensure all product development projects are delivered within the established timeline and budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture product development or a similar manufacturing role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, wood-working, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical requirements clearly.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
